Award Format: Scholarship awards are provided as a $500 Amazon or Walmart gift card for books and school supplies directly specific to the recipient's major of choice.

About This Scholarship

Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is awarded to a student who is accepted to a historically Christian two or four year College, University, or Technical program to pursue the major of their choice.

Note: Applications submitted from Mount Zion Christian Academy will receive precedence over others with respect to MZCA being the school founded by Apostle Fozard. However, precedence in no way is a guaranteed award.

Prerequisites & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2.0 GPA required
  • Accepted at a historically Christian accredited college, university, or technical program
  • Must be a graduating high school senior
  • Open to all denominational and ethnic backgrounds

What is a “historically Christian” institution?

A historically Christian institution is any accredited college, university, or technical program that was founded and — in its mission statement and core values — emphasizes basic Biblical fundamental Christian principles in its institutional learning outcomes.
