Five distinct scholarship programs designed to support diverse academic pursuits and career goals for North Carolina high school seniors.
Important: At this time, only one scholarship is awarded annually across all scholarship categories. We encourage all eligible students to apply and submit their strongest application.
Please Note: Scholarship awards have traditionally been provided in the form of a gift card to Amazon or Wal-Mart. Awarded students have reported using gifts for books and other needed school supplies, directly specific to their major of choice.

This is the only scholarship that can be awarded to a young adult up to age 24, who has been previously incarcerated in a juvenile justice facility and desires a fresh start. Thanks to the work of our Founder, Derrick L. Taylor, and his work assisting with the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention at local North Carolina youth detention centers as well as working with the Wake County (Raleigh, NC) Teen Court program, it is his personal belief that even though you may have made a mistake, you don't have to live the remainder of your life on a perpetual mistake journey.
“Never Forget, Better is Always One Decision Away!”
The development of this scholarship is still ongoing as Founder Taylor will be meeting with state and local Judicial professionals to determine the best available path forward. This scholarship can be awarded to any gender.
